Maybe not an official party member, but it never made sense that he was comfortable leaving Noctis after Regis fell.Īlso, the idea of Etro existing. Few of them, but they're there! Seeing Cor in a larger role would have been nice. On certain pieces of the story, there are parts I liked. It was likely because they knew it'd have to be multi-disk and figured they could make more money selling the parts separately instead of together, like they did in the past with all other FFs. That being said, it also reeks of Nomura since the three-game-thing is going to be what they're planning to do with the VII remake.

The whole reason I didn't touch FFXV is because I thought it was the original concept, just rebranded, and wasn't into what I saw from Versus XIII. Had this been the game delivered, I honestly probably wouldn't have played it. It definitely smells of Nomura: Convoluted and with clear signs of long, long monologues (such as Ardyn's reveal in which he tells you EVERYTHING about him including his favorite color and best vacation). Tabata came on and had barely any story to work with because Nomura kept getting new ideas - one of the last supposedly being turning it into a musical because he watched Les Miserables. He made characters, he made cool moments for the sake of trailers to hype people up, but there was no way all this was plotted out. There was not enough ever devised of the story for this to be real.

Idk theres just a ton of things in this that make sense to me and get me excited because of how fleshed out the story actually was.
#Final fantasy versus xiii plus
EDIT: Plus the main game already implies that Prompto was some kind of experiment, so it's really not hard to gleam all that and turn it into something where the "leaker" says those same things.Īlso, there's zero mention of Safay Roth, who was the original villain. The Character Relationship chart in the back of the strategy guide told us that. We knew that Verstael was Prompto's father before Episode Prompto.

They already knew the details surrounding Promptos origin/Verstael being his father whatnot. Reading from the past reddit posts, I saw some fan-made theories, but a lot of them seemed to have major plotholes within the explanation with things missing such as: the Ring of Lucii, Safay Roth, and more.Man, as cool as some of this is, I doubt any of it is more than fiction mixed with what we already knew about versusXIII (which wasn't much). However, when I was looking through YouTube, I had forgot there was an old concept that Nomura had designed for a Final Fantasy Versus XIII concept which later on got translated to what is now XV.

I've watched Kingsglaive, the Brotherhood anime series, and more. With that being said, I finished everything from the main game with all of the dlc combined. I mean there's a reason as to why I have 437 hours logged into one save. Hello, as the title above says, I'm actually quite interested in what was supposed to be the canonical story of "Final Fantasy: Versus XIII." I got back to FFXV lately after three years, and I wanted to say that despite there being many issues with the story, gameplay, and etc, it was still a very solid game with amazing concepts in which I can tell there was a lot of love, effort, STRESS, and dedication put into.
